Carmen’s Story Using Kabrita With a Picky Toddler

Today, we will be sharing Carmen’s story on using Kabrita with a picky toddler.

How did you first hear of Kabrita?

I was at a family fun event and got a sample. I was very excited to try for supplementing because I hate pumping!

Why did your family need goat milk formula?

We didn’t have the need but more of a desire because goat milk has a mild, sweet taste and it’s easy to digest. When I chose to supplement for the few days once I started going back to work, the ease on Apple’s tummy became an essential part for me.

Why did Kabrita seem like a good solution for supplementing?

It felt good to be using Kabrita and knowing that it wasn’t going to be hard on Apple’s tummy. It was clear that everything I read about Kabrita was working correctly for us. She was happy, with no extra burping or problems with poops, which can be common when a formula isn’t working.

How did Apple transition to Kabrita?

Amazing! I felt so relieved and happy she drank from a bottle! She was very picky and didn’t accept anything in a bottle. I knew it must have been the mild taste, that’s similar to breast milk.

What do you think of Kabrita’s taste and smell?

I have only tried it once prior and was happy with the flavor profile. I do know that to this day Apple’s breath doesn’t smell. It may sound weird, but she doesn’t have that terrible stinky diaper odor, unlike some formula babies! My husband said on a plane once he was thankful that when she pooped, we didn’t have to die of embarrassment from our child gagging others on the plane!

Did you have a certain perception of what a goat milk formula would taste like before Kabrita?

I have had goat milk previously so I thought it might be stronger.

Is there anything else you’d like to add or share about your experience?

I am happy that I discovered Kabrita. I also love telling moms that are like me to try it out. Never would I have guessed I would be so supportive of a formula company. I have always been a big-time breastfeeding person, so I chat nursing bras, latching, pumping all the time. I have had an uncomfortable feeling supporting a formula brand because often their goal is for you to use their formula and not to nurse. Kabrita is different. They to help moms that nurse and support moms looking for a formula alternative to the “norm.” Their company is small, and although I wish to see them in every store and mainstream for everyone to be able to try it out, I love that I feel like I have a brand I can trust.
