Michelle Journey On Supplementing Her Twins With Kabrita Goat Milk Formula

How did you first hear of Kabrita?
We learned about Kabrita via Instagram. I had seen a couple moms that I follow on social media mention how great Kabrita had been for their little ones. We finally got to try out a sample can back in March and we’ve been hooked ever since.
Why did your family have a need for goat milk formula?
Our family was looking for something gentle to transition to when our twins turned one. I am still breastfeeding but I really wanted something they could have when I was away from home or unable to pump. Especially since I was never really able to build up enough of a frozen breast milk stash. More importantly now that they are one, they are nursing a lot more and I was really worried about meeting their needs as they grew.
If related to symptoms being experienced by your children, can you describe them? And also describe how drinking Kabrita may have helped with those?
One of our twins, Madeleine, has battled really bad eczema since she was born. After much back and forth with cutting certain foods in my diet and trying to find the reason for her flare ups we were officially told by our pediatrician that dairy was the culprit.
Anastasia, our second twin, would flat out refuse anything that wasn’t breast milk. We had tried giving her cow’s milk, but she just wasn’t a fan. To add insult to injury she ended up with an upset tummy and diarrhea the next day.
If related to your need to supplement with or switch to formula, please describe why you chose to do so and why Kabrita seemed like a good solution?
Kabrita ticked all the boxes for what we were looking for to help supplement my twins. It didn’t give Madeleine any painful eczema skin flare ups and even passed Anastasia’s breast milk only taste test.
Did the ‘European quality’ element have an influence in your decision to try Kabrita?
With my two older girls I had never really ventured into supplementing, but with twins I really wanted to do my research in finding the best and safe formula for them. Knowing that Kabrita adheres to the higher ingredient standards found in European formulas brought us so much peace of mind.
How did your children take/transition to Kabrita?
Madeleine took to Kabrita right away and showed no signs of skin flares up. This alone was worth its weight in gold.
The bonus part of all this was that our other twin, Anastasia, actually enjoyed drinking Kabrita! She didn’t turn her nose up at it like she did when we had offered her cow's milk.
What do you think of Kabrita’s flavor?
I loved that Kabrita didn’t have that very distinct scent and taste that most formulas have. Kabrita had just the right amount of sweetness to it which was probably why my more finicky twin took right to it since it smelled closer to breast milk.
What is your favourite thing about Kabrita Formula?
Kabrita exceeded our expectations in finding a cows milk alternative for our twins. Especially since it was fortified and filled with vitamins and nutrients that their little growing bodies and brains need during the next phase of development as toddlers.
Is there anything else you’d like to add or share?
I love that Kabrita is sold at our nearby Sprouts Farmer’s Market but as a busy mom of four young children, I was so pleased to see that Kabrita was also being sold on Amazon Prime. Especially for those days when it is near impossible to brave the stores with all my kiddos in tow.
