Health professionals across the USA are recommending Kabrita Goat Milk Toddler Formula as an option for minor digestive issues, for weaning and supplementing, and as a gentle cow milk alternative. Some health professionals have chosen to use Kabrita with their own families! Learn how Lauren Minchen, RDN., decided on Kabrita Goat Milk Toddler Formula for her little one and how she uses Kabrita in her practice.
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and founder of Lauren Minchen Nutrition. I’ve been in practice for over 9 years and work with both adults and children. My specialty is in gut and autoimmune health and I see a lot of irritable bowel syndrome, gut dysbiosis, food allergies and food sensitivities in my practice. I understand the importance of building a healthy gut microbiota in early childhood so when it came time to nourish my child, I wanted something that would support my little one’s gut health as much as possible.
I started off exclusively breastfeeding but chose to supplement with formula when I returned to work. I started with a cow milk-based formula which went ok, but from early on, my little one suffered from eczema and so I opted to go diary free to see if that would help. At this time, I also switched from a cow milk-based formula to Kabrita Goat Milk Toddler formula to see if this would help ease his eczema. I didn’t notice much improvement in eczema, but immediately noticed that my little one suffered from less gas, less bloating, experienced more regular bowel movements and was just generally happier! Having this positive personal experience with Kabrita’s formula gave me a whole new appreciation for its value in practice.
I recommend Kabrita Goat Milk Toddler Formula in instances where parents have made the conscious decision to use formula and as an alternative to other formulas that appear to be causing digestive issues such as gas, bloating and discomfort. I’m also pleased to see that Kabrita Goat Milk Toddler formula adheres to strict European standards against the use of pesticides and does not add GMO ingredients to their formula.
I love helping people put their symptom picture together and come to understand how exercise, lifestyle, diet and nutrition can change health outcomes and prevent disease. It’s a privilege to watch patients gain a better appreciation for their body and see the positive outcomes from their hard work and dedication towards their health.
If I couldn’t be a dietitian, then I think I’d like to be a film director!
*Goat milk products are not recommended in cases of cow milk protein allergy
